Please only donate Toys that you would give to your own child (either New or 2nd hand but very good condition). You can drop at a collection point or at our house in Bexley.
ABOUT THE PROJECT
With young children and a big family you can feel very fortunate, but often there is a need to take toys in good condition to the charity shops in order to clear some space. With more and more families having to rely on food banks, the thought occurred to us that some families might not be able to afford second hand toys and would appreciate toy donations to help alleviate any further financial stress.
We hope that people in the community will help by spreading the word to anyone who may benefit from a toy donation. In addition this project will be relying on the kindness of families, businesses and organisations that wish to donate new or used toys in good condition that we can then recycle and distribute to families in need.
If you are interested in helping by providing a collection point, storage facilities or distributing we would love to hear from you!
If you would like to receive a present for your child, all we ask is to get in touch by email and give some basic details so we can try and match your child with a toy they will be happy to receive.

ABOUT US
There have been a few changes at the Toybank recently. We (Aurelie and Steve) have moved to France, but we really didn't want to let the project fizzle out as it had been going well, with over a hundred presents going out to some well deserving children over the last year. We rather cheekily asked a very kind and helpful person that we met through the Toybank to take over...a big ask! We are delighted that she said 'yes' and so now the project has been passed over to the lovely Marie.
This is a community project that works in tandem with local charities, churches and food banks as well as reaching families in need via Bexley council. For any cynics out there, please rest assured that there is no hidden agenda here, no money will be made, we are self-funded and do not accept cash donations. If you wish to help we would encourage you to donate new toys via online retail outlets instead. We will always do our best to give the children what they ask for, so check first what's on the 'Wanted' list if you are planning to donate.
Having children is great fun (when they're behaving themselves!) and giving presents at Christmas and on Birthdays is very special. If you are struggling to make ends meet hopefully we can help relieve some stress through the generosity of the kind-hearted people in your neighbourhood. We promise to always be discreet and non-judgemental. We have all needed a little help at some point in our lives.
